Cards

Cards overview Aurex cards are virtual prepaid cards used as the primary spending instrument on the platform. All payments are made through cards, not directly from the wallet balance.

Cards are created and managed from the Aurex dashboard. Each card has its own balance and operates independently from other cards.

Card types

Currently, Aurex provides virtual reloadable cards.

Physical cards are not available at this time.

Card balance

Each card has a separate balance assigned during creation.

  • Card balance is used for payments

  • Wallet balance is used to fund cards

  • Transactions affect only the card balance

Balance isolation Card balances are isolated from the main wallet balance to reduce exposure and improve spending control.

Creating a card

When creating a card, the user:

  • selects a card name,

  • assigns a balance,

  • confirms card creation.

The assigned balance is deducted from the wallet balance.

Note Minimum and maximum card balance requirements apply and are shown during card creation.

Reloading a card

Cards can be reloaded by adding additional funds from the wallet balance.

  • Reloads are manual

  • There is no limit on the number of reloads

Using cards

Cards are used for online card payments using standard card details.

  • Payments are authorized based on available card balance

  • Declined transactions do not affect wallet balance
