arrow-progressRecovery & Access

This section explains how account access can be restored and managed across web and mobile environments.

Recovery and access mechanisms are designed to ensure users can regain control of their account while preventing unauthorized recovery attempts.

Account recovery

Account recovery is available when a user loses access to their account credentials.

  • Recovery is initiated through the web interface

  • Verification steps are required to confirm account ownership

  • Recovery actions apply to the entire account, not a specific device

Mobile access limitations

The mobile application relies on an existing, active Aurex account.

  • New accounts cannot be registered via mobile

  • Recovery actions cannot be initiated from the mobile app

  • The app provides a direct link to register or recover access via aurex.cash

Note

This limitation is intentional and helps reduce the risk of account takeover on mobile devices.

Access restoration behavior

Once access is restored:

  • The updated credentials apply immediately to web and mobile

  • Active mobile sessions may be invalidated

  • Users may be required to log in again on all devices

Security note

Restoring access may automatically terminate existing sessions for protection purposes.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining access to their recovery methods,

  • securing email and other linked services,

  • completing recovery actions only through official Aurex channels.
