Recovery & Access

Recovery overview Recovery & Access describes the mechanisms used to restore access to an Aurex account if login credentials are lost or unavailable.

These mechanisms are designed to provide access recovery while maintaining account security.


Recovery seed phrase

During account setup, a recovery seed phrase is generated.

  • The seed phrase is unique to the account

  • It can be used to restore access if the password is lost

Seed phrase storage

Users are responsible for securely storing their recovery seed phrase.

Recommended practices:

  • store it offline,

  • do not share it with anyone,

  • avoid storing it in plain text on connected devices.

Note Aurex does not store a copy of the recovery seed phrase.


Account recovery

If access to an account is lost:

  • the recovery seed phrase can be used to restore access,

  • a new password can be set after recovery.


Access limitations

  • Lost seed phrases cannot be recovered

  • Accounts without a valid recovery method may become permanently inaccessible

Security considerations

  • Treat the recovery seed phrase as sensitive information

  • Do not enter the seed phrase on untrusted devices

  • Do not share it with third parties
